Biennial scientific meetings
Since 1973, the year of its foundation, the Accademia Romanistica Constantiniana has held an International Conference every two years, then publishing a collective volume with contributions that delve deeper into the themes covered in the conference reports.
Still every two years, in even years a smaller meeting is held to encourage discussion. The Round Table connects to the previous conference and sets up the next one thanks to the common debate in which everyone, masters and neophytes, freely speaks.
The tradition of alternating conferences and round tables continues with the collaboration of the Constantinian Historical-Juridical Academy.
The succession of round tables becomes more and more regular and starting from 1992, at the instigation of Manlio Sargenti, the materials are gradually transcribed and collected in agile work notebooks. As time passes, we appreciate more and more their function as a living and faithful testimony to what has been discussed: without them, much would have been lost that could be useful to return to.
To account for the succession of themes, detailed lists of the two initiatives starting from the beginning of the collaboration between ARC and ASGC follow in point 1 and point 2.
